Call for Nominations

THE SEARCH IS ON. Nominations from the community for the 2020 Leaders in Urban Philanthropy Awards are now being accepted.



Since 2003, the Urban Philanthropy Institute's  Community Leadership Awards have honored individuals and organizations who are doing extraordinary work to address community's most pressing challenges. The awards are designed to advance community-driven, innovative, and sustainable solutions to critical issues facing historically underserved  communities.



Eligibility:



• Applicants must be based in and serve residents in one or more historically underserved  communities.
• Individuals may work in any industry (public, private, nonprofit, corporate, etc.).
• Individuals must be nominated by a third party and may not nominate themselves.
• Organizations must have an IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt status or be a fiscally sponsored project of another nonprofit entity.
• Previous award winners are ineligible.
